North Coast Symphony Orchestra's 75th Anniversary Concert

The North Coast Symphony Orchestra played its official 75th anniversary concert on November 5, 2022, which was followed by a reception. The "75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee" concert featured music from American composers - Overture to"The School for Scandal"  by Samuel Barber, Afro-American Symphony by William Grant Still, Fiddle Faddle by Leroy Anderson, Excerpts from "Brigadoon" by Frederick Loewe/Alan Jay Lerner, Reflections (Sonatine No. II) by James P. Johnson (used with permission of Barry J. Glover and the James P. Johnson family), and a special treat - Lincoln Portrait by Aaron Copland narrated by actor and musician Victor Morris.

​​City of Encinitas Proclamation

On 23 March 2022, the Mayor and City Council of Encinitas gave the NCSO an official proclamation that recognizes the orchestra's 75th anniversary and thanks its present and past members for their contribution to the musical culture of the city.
